Ride For Your Life: Barcelona Study Shows Bike Sharing Saves More Than Gas

In the U.S., cities like Washington D.C., Minneapolis and Boulder have received national attention for their bike share programs. It seems like the movement is gaining momentum as the positive effects pop up: reduced carbon emissions, money saved and increased physical activity for commuters. Just yesterday, our athlete Nitish Nag posted about how cycling can protect you from heart disease and today we stumbled across a study in Barcelona shows that their bike sharing program is actually saving lives.
